Members should’ve received their new dental insurance cards and infomation on the new coverage under Delta Dental’s network via USPS and email. Please see the links below for more info on the new coverage and network.
It is strongly recommended that members verify if their Dentist is in network prior to their next visit so they are not incurring charges with providers that are out of the Delta Dental network.
If a member didn’t receive their new Delta Dental card what they should do?
- At the dentist, they are to tell them they have Delta Dental and give them the SSN for the member. That’s all the dentist will need to be able to look them up with Delta Dental.
- If their dentist isn’t in-network, they will need to pay the dentist, obtain receipts and submit them to Delta Dental on their own. They may be subject to higher costs and balance billing for out-of-network dentists.
- The member can also print their own card by setting up and logging into their account with Delta Dental (see links below).
- The member can also call Denise at 419.492.3030 and I can email it to them.
