Local 42 has received word from other UA locals around the state that Job & Family Services is performing audits on about 48,000 Ohioan’s unemployment claims. For those working in the construction industry the audit is rather time consuming and in depth. If you receive correspondence through the unemployment website that you are being audited, PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE THE EMAIL. Things will only get worse if you ignore the request for information. If you are selected for an audit, please call Business Manager, John Youngberg ASAP to arrange a time to go over what is being requested of you and to make sure you respond to the request within the time required.
